Eucharistic Ministers
Eucharistic Ministers are members of a very visible lay ministry, licensed by the Bishop to serve in their local parish. The extent of participation in worship services is at the discretion of the priest. At St. Paul’s Eucharistic Ministers lead the reading of the Psalm and the Prayers of the People during worship services, however, their primary responsibility is to assist the priest in administering the Holy Eucharist to the congregation. Those who serve as Eucharistic Ministers find that being part of the principal act of Christian worship, the Eucharist, is very rewarding. There is one Eucharist Minister at the 8 AM service, and two at the 10:00 AM service.

All children and young adults, grades 1st to 12th, are encouraged to participate in this program, which provides spiritual growth and a sense of belonging to the Church community. Adult members of our Parish family are welcome to join this ministry, as well. Training sessions are held in the early fall, and are supported by on-the-job training throughout the Church year.

Our adult acolytes serve at the 8:00 a.m. Sunday Worship Service. Our junior acolytes serve at the 10:00 a.m. Worship Service.
